Maureen Munoz

Based in New York City, Maureen Muñoz is an accomplished Argentine tango dancer, instructor, choreographer and performer recognized for her elegance, musicality, and refined social dance technique. She is an ATUSA Champion in Tango de Pista and Milonga, and also Champion of the Southern California Tango Championship in Stage Tango, Vals, and Milonga.

Beyond competitions and performances, Maureen is deeply committed to tango education and community building. She regularly teaches technique classes and social tango training for dancers of all levels, fostering welcoming environments that emphasize strong fundamentals, connection, and musical expression.
