AdapTango
What is AdapTango®?
AdapTango® is an evidence-based approach to Argentine Tango designed for older adults and individuals living with neurodegenerative and neurotoxic conditions, including Parkinson’s disease and cancer survivors.
By adapting tango movements to participants’ abilities, AdapTango® promotes balance, mobility, confidence, cognitive engagement, and social connection in a safe and supportive environment.
Friends of Argentine Tango is proud to bring AdapTango® to New York City communities. Through inclusive programming, professional training, and community partnerships, we strive to make the benefits of Argentine Tango accessible to everyone.
